Telephone Switches

During the inception of telephones the one pair of wire was required to make signals from every individual telephone to a central office where different operators use to route calls from the calling party to the required end. The users of this service use to crank a handle on the telephone which rang a bell on the switchboard in the central office. Since the inception of telephones till today different types of telephone switches have been made one such type is the uniselector switch which is a single-axis stepping relay switch.
